Every loves sports in college so why not host a sports tournament which cold be basketball, softball…etc.

Date auctions are great because they can get everyone involved. Open this auction up to all of the Greeks who wish to bid and to be bid on.

4.  Wrestling

Our fourth idea can get a little messy but would definitely attract a serious crowd and that is Jell-O or Foam Wrestling.

5.  BBQ/ Cookout

Everyone loves a good old fashioned BBQ. This may seem like a lot of work and money, but if planned right, you won’t have to worry about either. Try contacting local vendors in the area and have them help with the food and beverages, grill and fuel, grilling utensils, etc.

Social Fraternities and Sororities

Social fraternities and sororities offer membership to students without regard to a field of study or class year, and typically have a minimum grade requirement.. Social fraternities and sororities have a social component to them and deem one of their core values as fellowship or friendship. The individual and the organization’s members base membership on mutual choice. The social fraternities and sororities are based on individuals rushing a particular house, or houses, and then receiving bids. Of all the men and women who rush each semester the houses decide on who they want to offer an invitation to join their sorority or fraternity. For those who are chosen it is a great honor. Social fraternities and sororities are self-governing and self-supporting organizations. Many fraternity and sorority chapters own chapter homes, however these homes are privately owned and operated by the organization’s alumni members and not by the university.

Professional Fraternities and Sororities

Most colleges have professional Fraternities and Sororities for many of the academic majors.  These Fraternities and Sororities are different from social Fraternities and Sororities because they are typically co-ed and are more academic focused.

Honor Fraternities and Sororities

Honor Fraternities and Sororities are similar to professional Fraternities and Sororities in the fact that they are focused on academics.  Members usually have minimum G.P.A. and academic year requirements and may require one to fill out an application. These organizations are co-ed and may require you to be a specific major or affiliation.

National Affiliations

Social fraternities and sororities on this campus are established as local chapters of national organizations. Chapters are required to be affiliated with a national organization, and subsequently ascribe to and follow the policies of the national organization. Chapters are also required to hold membership in a governance councils.
